Now here’s something. This fellow in the video has a really long and very interesting list of what he would like Steve Job and his team to add to the 2nd generation of the Iphone.

First and foremost I would like to thank and acknowledge Karel Gennen for his article. It does contain a lot of really good and useful information regarding the Apple Iphone. I do believe that we all have to do our research before investing in anything, so why should it be any different with the new Iphone developed by Steve Jobs and his team?

The iPhone is not only a mobile phone. No no. When you buy an iPhone you will also get an iPod! This iPod function is very nice because of the big screen. You can play music as well as video.

iPhone visual voicemail feature

The iPhone also has a very nice voicemail function. It’s a so called visual voicemail. With the visual voicemail you can go directly to any message. You don’t have to listen to the other messages first. I think this is a very nice iPhone feature. Now you don’t have to waste any time by listening to other messages…

iPhone internet feature

The iPhone features a HTML email client and the best mobile browser, Safari. You can easily synchronize bookmarks from your Mac or PC.

iPhone Google maps feature

With Google maps and the maps application from the iPhone you can view maps and satellite images. You can also go directly to traffic information. A nice feature nowadays…

There are a lot more iPhone features but the four I mentioned are a few reasons why I will by the iPhone. I also like the touch function. No more buttons to press…

Another thing I like are it’s looks. It has a nice 3.5 screen. I only think that the iPhone is rather big. I don’t think it will fit in pocket anymore.. But with such a nice looking phone I’m not embarrassed to show it to the world!

Once again, a big thank you Karel, I hope that many people will follow your advice and consider your recommendation. He’s making some really good points.

As pretty much with everything today, a product that gets introduced into the market place, comes with it original as well as copied accessories. There is not difference when it comes to cases to carry and protect your Iphone.

Apple obviously has designed original and genuine cases and halters for their cell phone, however some competitors were quick to produce their own, to get a slice of the buzz that’s been created for the Apple phone.

What are the choices

Lets start with the silicon cases.

The Iphone silicon cases, just like any other Iphone case comes in many different colors. Blue, purple, pink, grey, clear and so many more that there’s not enough space to list them all and it would get a bit too much anyway. What the choices come down though is the fact the proud owner of the latest apple computer gadget can me wrapped in the color that suits the owners tastes.

All Iphone cases, as one would expect, do accommodate the various functions of the mobile phone. Some of the silicon cases come with an LCD screen protector. You really do want to prevent the screen from getting scratched or even broken.

In case you don’t like silicon, there also are hard crystal plastic cases available. Just as the silicon ones, the hard crystal plastic cases come in many colors. Some of the crystal plastic cases are equipped with belt clips, which is very popular with the male population. Just like the silicon case the hard crystal case comes with a LCD screen protector too.

The third choice of material the Iphone user can chose from is a simple leather case, which is still very popular and obviously more of a classical accessory than the silicon or hard crystal plastic. Usually the leather cases are made of hard and durable leather, which makes the case a bit more bulky than the other ones. Again they do come in different colors too and the consumer gets a choice between a flip lid or a pouch.

If all the options listed above are not suitable for you, please note that pocket pouches are available as well. They’re designed to protect and hold your Iphone. They are very handy indeed since they are smaller than most and you can simply slide your mobile phone out of the pouch to use it. Alternatively you can also purchase a flip-lid case which is a very good protection. You simply flip the lid open and you can you can use your mobile phone instantly.

Some big fashion label names, such as Louis Vuitton or Nicole Miller, have produced Iphone holders and pouches as part of their collection.They did want to get onto the bandwagon early.

The invention of the iphone has certainly for Apple Computers been a very lucrative investment. The demand for the communications device is still very high and the prices haven’t come down just yet.

Since this mobile phone has so many other very useful functions it seems to be a bit of a shame, that apple has not included a GPS in this device. Since GPS’ are in huge demand, it would be truly handy to have one build into a mobile phone. My belief is that if apple had build a GPS, which stands for Global Positioning System, into its really easy to use and very user friendly phone, the sales numbers would probably be even more staggering than they already are. Ok, one could argue that why should they bother, since it was such a success and that’s fair.

Why having a GPS is so important Has Special Benefits In Emergency Situations

Here’s a bit of education. A GPS or Global Positioning System needs to be connected to satellites, earth monitoring stations and a GPS receiver to be able to work properly. These satellites orbit the earth, sending signals that are received and processed by the GPS, and your actual position can be tracked down very easily.

Just imagine what it could mean if your mobile phone were equipped with a GPS. How much more save would you feel.

Say an emergency situation, you could simply call 911 or what ever the emergency number of your country is, and they can instantly track down where you are. So that search troops will find you a lot faster, and it would also be saver for them.

In case you’re in the market for a mobile phone that offers a GPS with the package, there are alternatives out there.

The Nokia N95 does come with its own GPS system integrated.

I do believe the market will at some stage, and lets hope rather sooner than later, demand that every cell phone produced would have to offer the integrated GPS.

It would not surprise me if after all, Apple Computers would be the ones to actually push the market demand to make the integration of a GPS into the iphone a want to have rather than a would be nice to have.

If you purchase one for your child, find out if you can block these features or find out if there’s a way that you as a parent can order features, but your child cannot.
